Bank Of India Employees Union, Odisha was formed on 13th February, 1981 as a separate unit on bifurcation from the BOIEA, Kolkata unit. Prior to formation as an Independent organization, the members were affiliated to BOIEA, Kolkata. BOIEU, Odisha Unit has been functioning for the past Four Decades with courage and commitment towards the protection of members and also inculcated the leadership to the next generation. We are proud of our Leaders Com Damodar Pagal, Com Alekh Das, Com Suresh Chandra Mishra, Com SN Nanda and Com Pradipta Kumar Pattanaik who shaped the organization to be a vibrant and strong unit of the Federation of Bank of India Staff Unions and also All Odisha Bank Employees Association. Com Suresh Chandra Mishra and Com SN Nanda lead the organization for a long period and they gave hope, faith, courage, confidence, valour and vitality to the successive collective leadership. Com PK Pattanaik led the organization with dedication and commitment for more than six years giving stability to the Union. *After Com PK Pattanaik, Com Saroj Ranjan Mallick and Com Prabir Kumar Ghose led the Union during different periods, contributing to the continuity of the Union' s activities and organisational functioning.* BOIEU, Odisha has transformed itself into a mighty and strong organization and overcome many challenges. As a pioneer of transition and grooming youngsters, the organization in its recently held 15th Conference, has boldly entrusted the mantle of leadership to the new generation, by electing Com Tapasi Sahoo as the new Gen Secy to carry forward the glorious legacy of FOBOIS and AIBEA with renewed strength, commitment and progressive vision.
