Bank of India Staff Union, Telangana Unit was formed in 2018. Prior to its formation it was associated with two units. In the very beginning, members of the undivided Andhra Pradesh were affiliated to BOI Staff Union, Chennai. On formation of a separate unit under the leadership of Com CGK Murthy & Others on 16th July, 1960 in the name of BOISU AP Unit, members were affiliated to BOISU AP Unit. We salute our leaders Com GGK Murthy, founding General secretaryCom Ganesh S lyer, Com B Satyanandam, Com B. Srihari, Com B Amaranth and Com M Raghava Sarma who raised the organization to further heights. Bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh into two separate states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has lead to further bifurcation of the union also in the name of BOISU Telangana Unit in 2018 under the leadership of Com P Niranjan, General secretary. BOISU Telangana unit stands shoulder to shoulder with Federation of Bank of India Staff Unions, APBEF and AIBEA in the path of protecting the interest of members.
