The unforgettable great leader who laid the foundation for a golden future for Bank of India employees - a true warrior of struggle who brought light into the lives of thousands, *Comrade G.G.K. Murthy, established this union on 15th July, 1960 and he was the first General Secretary of BOISU AP Unit. We extend our heartfelt greetings to all comrades. We express our sincere gratitude to the founding leaders who stood for us.. It is our great fortune to be members of the union. We aspire for today's generation of union leaders to follow their ideals under The Dynamic and Energetic leadership of Com Thota Suryanarayana garu who has been leading the *BOISUAP* after state bifurcation. The BOI Staff Union has maintained 100% AIBEA membership for the past 64 years and earned a rare reputation at both state and national levels and it is the strong foundation laid by Com G.G.K Murthy and other founding leaders Com Manoorkar, Com Mohd. Sharfuddin. *BANK OF INDIA STAFF UNION AP* ensured not even a speck of trouble touched any union member. Convincing management through logical and persuasive arguments was the hallmark.
